Hundreds of Air Force Officers are TDY to training at Sheppard AFB at any one time. AMMOC, LRS, IFF, ect. We currently have 3 fully furnished houses located within 5 minutes of Sheppard AFB with bedrooms that are available for short term rental while you are TDY. We are also in the process of expanding and making more properties available. The large lodging facilities at Sheppard are rarely over capacity. However, you do not need to stay in the VOQ to be legally reimbursed for your lodging expenses (see notes on this page for a detailed description). Bottom line, you can live in a fully furnished house right off base instead of the on base TLF/Dorms for the same daily rate and no extra cost to you. We have been providing this service since June of 2014 to several satisfied customers.
